Corona Guide for your Festival Visit
In order to make your visit to a music festival event as safe and carefree as possible, comprehensive measures apply in all venues for the staging of our concerts in accordance with carefully developed hygiene and safety concepts. In order to ensure the protection and safety of all guests, artists and staff, rules must be observed when visiting a concert. Provisions in these hygiene rules may change at short notice before events. Therefore, please check the news at this page shortly before your concert visit. Please find all necessary information about your safe and carefree festival visit here:
If you are not feeling well and if you notice COVID-19 symptoms such as cough, fever, cold, sore throat, general weakness, diarrhea, smell or taste disturbance, please refrain from attending the event for the protection of other guests.
For persons who have been (temporarily) in a high-risk or virus variant area defined by the RKI (The Robert Koch Institute is the government’s central scientific institution in the field of biomedicine) prior to an event, attendance at the event is only possible in compliance with the currently valid laws and regulations. Further information can be found here.
We open the venues about 45 minutes before the start of the event. We strongly recommend that all visitors allow more time for admission control under Corona conditions. You decide how early you want to take your seats, but we kindly ask you not to be late if you have tickets for seats in the middle of a row.
Admission to our concerts according to the 3G rules
Regardless of the daily incidence rate in the respective city or district, only negatively tested, fully vaccinated or recovered persons may visit the concerts. All visitors (except children up to the age of 14) therefore need the following documents for access to our concerts
Contact details on site
Musikfest tickets are not personalized, so all visitors must register with our admission control via Luca App when entering the venue to enable contact tracing. If digital registration is not an option for you, please use our analog visitor’s data form. If possible, come with your already filled out paper (please note: for the opening night "Eine große Nachtmusik" on Aug 28th, a contact form is required for each concert you attend!). In addition, please note that for contact tracing purposes, admission tickets must be booked in advance even for events that do not charge admission (limited contingent). This also ensures that all visitors get a seat and that no more audience than permitted attends the event.
The data collected will only be used in accordance with legal requirements and will be deleted in due time.
Please have all required documents ready at the entrance. After the admission check, please proceed quickly to the seat reserved for you, avoiding queues, accumulations, etc.
Wearing medical mouth/nose protection at all times
To protect every visitor and every artist, the wearing of a medical face mask (OP or FFP2 mask) at all times is mandatory, including during the concert. Please bring your own medical mouth/nose protection. A doctor's certificate does not exempt you from the mask requirement.
Seating at a distance
All auditorium plans are set up in a checkerboard pattern with appropriate safety spacing between seats. Variations in the amount of seating may occur at any time due to new regulations. Therefore, please note that adjustments in seating might happen and will not entitle you to return the concert tickets.
Drinks will not be served inside venues in connection with Musikfest events. The regular opening hours of separate catering facilities at the venues (such as the "D'Oro" restaurant in the Glocke) remain unaffected. The additional catering services on the opening night of "Eine große Nachtmusik" will generally take place outside.
No coat check
Please note that visitor checkrooms will not be open in the venues until further notice for reasons of hygiene. Therefore, please avoid bringing large bags.
Please keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters from other guests at the entrance and on all paths in the venues.
Disinfection dispensers are available in the entrance area and in the washrooms of the venues. Please also observe coughing and sneezing label. Cleaning and disinfection of highly frequented areas and so-called high-touch points in the venues, such as handrails and door handles, will be intensified.
All events (exception: Arp-Schnitger-Festival V, 5.9., Ganderkesee) take place without intermission. You can find out about the approximate duration of each concert on our website in the concert details section prior to your visit.
Program and line-up changes
We do our utmost to be able to organize our concerts in the announced form. However, due to changes in entry regulations or other unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to make changes to the program and/or line-up at short notice, which also do not entitle you to a ticket refund.
We assure you that we will do everything in our power to ensure that you can enjoy the concerts without any worries, even in times of Corona. For this, we depend on your assistance in complying with the rules. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
Visitors who do not comply with the binding regulations may be excluded from the event. In this case, there is no right to a refund of the ticket price.
