Programme:
Jean-Philippe Rameau: Laboravi clamans, Paroles qui ont précédé le Te Deum,
François-André Danican Philidor: Marche de triomphe avec des trompettes et des timbales,
Marc-Antoine Charpentier: Te Deum H 146
Everyone knows the melody of the Eurovision anthem, but who wrote it? Marc-Antoine Charpentier! His Te Deum, spectacularly scored with trumpets and timpani, announces not only the praise of God, but also that of the Sun King Louis XIV. The perfect challenge for Vox Luminis with their brilliant mix of virtuosic vocals and harmonious sound. The Belgian ensemble’s performance of the Te Deum together with other works that once accompanied ceremonies and events at Versailles, will make the dazzling festiveness and exuberant pomp of the French court come to life again!

HOW IT WORKS
In ten venues around the market square, two concerts of 45 minutes each will take place in three time slots, while in our main festival hall the Glocke there will be three concerts. All venues have two common intervals for spontaneous encounters and thought provoking conversations with other festivalgoers. Single tickets for each concert can be booked at the standard price of 30 euros. So you can decide for yourself whether you want to attend one, two or three concerts for the festival’s opening night!
Tickets: € 30 (reduced € 24)
