The sound of 24-year-old Lucienne Renaudin Vary's trumpet is young and fresh. She initially studied classical trumpet in Le Mans, was later accepted into the classical and jazz classes at the renowned Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris and made a name for herself in both genres right from the start.

This exceptional young artist has performed with major orchestras such as the Philharmonia Orchestra, Tonhalle Zurich, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, Brussels Philharmonic, Lucerne Symphony Orchestra, Zurich Chamber Orchestra, Les Siècles, Les Violons du Roy, Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, London Chamber Orchestra, Orchestre National d'Auvergne, Ensemble Kanazawa, Warsaw Philharmonic, Prague Philharmonic, Dortmund Philharmonic, Basel Chamber Orchestra or New Century Chamber Orchestra in San Francisco and has worked with conductors such as Paavo Järvi, Barbara Hannigan, François-Xavier Roth, Eun Sun Kim, Vladimir Ashkenazy, Tugan Sokhiev, Cristian Macelaru, Kazuchi Ono, Emmanuel Villaume, Jan-Willem de Vriend, Christopher Warren-Green, Lawrence Foster, Michael Sanderling and Ruth Reinhardt. Renowned festivals such as the Snape Proms, Festival de Pâques in Aix-en-Provence, Rheingau Music Festival, Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, Stresa Festival, Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Istanbul Music Festival, Folle Journée de Nantes and Cartagena Festival de Música have all invited the talented young artist, who also holds a five-year residency as »Menuhin's Heritage Artist« at the Gstaad Menuhin Festival. She has also made a name for herself as a jazz musician and founded her own quartet, with which she will now be performing at the Musikfest Bremen for the first time.

Lucienne Renaudin Vary is an exclusive Warner Classics artist and has already released four highly acclaimed albums. In 2021, she received the Opus Klassik in the category »Young Artist of the Year«, having already won the »Discovery of the Year« category at the Victoires de la Musique Classique in 2016. Her latest album was released in autumn 2022. She has recorded some of the most famous trumpet concertos alongside Michael Sanderling and the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra. Previous albums released by Warner Classics include »The Voice of the Trumpet« (2017) recorded with the Orchestre National de Lille and Rolando Villazón, »Mademoiselle in New York« (2019) with Bill Elliott and the BBC Concert Orchestra and »Piazzolla Stories« (2021) with the Monte Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra and Sascha Goetzel.
