The 35th Musikfest Bremen will take place from August 17 to September 7, 2024 and offers over 45 events in Bremen and Bremerhaven as well as in selected venues throughout the northwest. The program will be published and tickets will go on sale on 14 March. Until April 14, we will offer a 15% discount on all tickets.

The popular opening evening "Eine große Nachtmusik" around the illuminated market square will once again feature an attractive mix of styles, eras and genres. The invited artists include the Bach Collegium Japan & Masaaki Suzuki, Il Pomo d'Oro & Jakub Józef Orliński, Ulrich Matthes & Olena Kushpler and Sarah Willis & Sarahbanda.

Other highlights of the festival include performances by Quatuor Ebène, Philippe Jaroussky & Artaserse, the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra & Anne-Sophie Mutter & Daniel Barenboim, Sheléa & hr-Bigband, the Bundesjugendorchester & World Youth Choir, Lucienne Renaudin Vary, Igor Levit and Marc Minkowski & Les Musiciens du Louvre. In addition, the Arp Schnitger Festival (20 to 25 August) in the northwest and two Musikfest Ateliers as internationally oriented academy projects with young musicians from all over the world are again planned.
